The Sun reported that Christina Cornel, a 34-year-old American, was living in New York and working in the human resources department.
Suddenly, she quit her office job and set off on a journey to travel the world.

How does she afford it? She revealed the details.
The idea of changing her life emerged in Christina's mind because she felt unfulfilled.
"I started thinking about how I wanted to live my life. I thought about what I wanted the most. I wanted more sunlight, more physical exercise, more time with family, more nature, more learning, more emotions, more growth, more pleasure, more freedom," shared the American.
In 2017, she ventured to Thailand, where she met like-minded individuals who shared her vision of life. The new connections helped her secure a job as an online teacher.
However, later on, Christina found a more economically advantageous and interesting way to earn money.
She began house-sitting while homeowners were on vacation or business trips. The only catch was taking care of the homeowners' pets.
Through this arrangement, Christina was able to stay in dozens of homes in California, Montreal, London, Texas, and Switzerland for free. "I can stay in beautiful places and save money.
That's a huge plus for me. Not only can you stay in nice houses, but you also have more time for self-improvement and personal growth...
The opportunity to live for free like a local in Switzerland, one of the most expensive countries in the world, was definitely a highlight," shared Christina.
She registered on websites such as House Sitters America and MindMyHouse, where she paid modest membership fees.
"All you do is feed their cats," she noted.
Nowadays, Christina travels not alone but with her husband. The couple has explored half of Europe and has no plans to stop anytime soon.
