An incredible event occurred in Ecuador when a woman whom her relatives believed to be dead suddenly came back to life during her funeral. This story is reported by the Daily Star.
Relatives of 76-year-old Bella Montoya gathered to honor her memory at the funeral on June 9.
This happened after Bella was pronounced dead by the Martin Icaza Babaojo Medical Center.
Early in the morning at 9 o'clock, Bella's son, Gilbert, brought her to the hospital.
Two hours later, the medical staff confirmed her death, suspecting that her cause of death was cardiac arrest due to unspecified cerebrovascular disease. She had been dealing with hypertension and heart problems.
However, four hours after placing her body in the coffin, something strange happened... The family opened the casket to dress the "deceased" and discovered that she was gasping for breath.
Additionally, she was knocking her left hand against the coffin.
A witness to the incident, who captured this shocking event, reported that despite the unusual circumstances, the emergency services did not have spare vehicles to provide medical assistance to the woman who suddenly came back to life.
Fortunately, the woman was able to be admitted to the intensive care unit. She is receiving oxygen, and her condition is described as stable.
A doctor lightly squeezed her hand, and she responded, which is considered a good sign indicating gradual recovery.
