In the lives of dog volunteers, there's something from Chip and Dale and something from Baywatch.
If a dog needs help, they're already on their way.

When a man heard that a pitbull was sitting in the bushes on the edge of the road, barking loudly at anyone who dared to approach, he immediately rushed to the scene.
The dog was in the drainage ditch. It's unclear whether he fell in accidentally or intentionally crawled in to hide from bothersome humans.
But he clearly didn't want to come out. Only desperate eyes sparkled through the overhanging shrubs.
The pitbull was visibly terrified and ready to defend his life dearly if he felt threatened.
The most important thing when dealing with humans and animals in crisis situations is to be friendly, decisive, and avoid sudden movements.
The volunteer lured the animal out of the ditch and tossed him treats.
Throughout the process, he maintained a calm conversation, to which the pitbull responded with nervous barking.
When the dog was close enough, the volunteer looped a leash around his neck to secure him.
He got him out of the predicament.
It seemed like the animal had nowhere to go, but the man still didn't pull too hard, so as not to frighten the pitbull. He offered a large bowl of water, and the dog happily drank from it.
The man went to his car to get more water. However, as soon as the newfound acquaintance disappeared from sight, the dog panicked. He started rushing around and then began biting the leash.
While the volunteer tried to do something, to calm him down somehow, the dog bit through the leash and vanished.
"Do you think I'll let you stay here?"
The volunteer didn't even consider giving up. He repeated the rescue operation, but this time, for safety, he used two leashes.
He realized that it would be challenging with this particular animal and called for help. Loreta arrived as quickly as she could, bringing a dog crate with her.
She lured the pitbull inside and slammed the iron doors shut. It was a modified crate, very spacious, with blankets, pillows, and a water bowl.
In the shelter, the dog felt much better. Although they had to amputate her broken leg, she remained calm.
On three legs, the dog learned to run, never stopped smiling, and wagged her tail.
Her new owner named her Yara, in honor of the courageous and dependable warrior girl from Game of Thrones.
Now she has her own home and people who simply adore her.
