The staff was able to locate his owners through a microchip.

"He never gave up and made his way back home. What a little fighter!" his owner Sheri Yeoman posted on Facebook.
After an emotional reunion, Sheri and the rest of the family took Watson to his old park, where he used to love running around.
"He was very excited. Just absolutely adorable! It was such a special moment to witness his return," she said.
"We are so grateful to have our Watson back after such a long time, but we are in absolute shock about his condition."
The adorable dog was severely dehydrated, had a heart murmur, and suffered from ear, skin, and eye infections.
Watson is also battling arthritis and lower back and leg trauma, as well as a dental abscess.
But the lumpy tumor in his ear is the most concerning to the veterinarians.
They said the 13-year-old dog probably has only about six months left to live.
Mrs. Yeoman stated that she is determined to do everything possible to make him feel comfortable.
It is unknown what happened to Watson during the past eight years, but the family suspects that he was stolen and lived in neglectful conditions.
"We were absolutely devastated," Mrs. Yeoman said.
Now that they have found him, they are cherishing every moment.
