The frightened parents didn't know how to get rid of it.
In 2013, their daughter Aurelie was around one year old when she received a doll of Elsa – the princess from the movie Frozen.
As reported: Popularni.live
When the pendant on the doll was squeezed, it played the song "Let it Go" from the movie. At first, the doll only sang in English, but later it began to sing the song in Spanish as well.
Over time, the doll started singing on its own, even when it wasn't turned on.
Eventually, the parents decided it was time to get rid of the strange toy – but the doll disagreed with them.
The parents tried to throw away the doll, but something went wrong. Emilie's husband Matt threw the toy in a bag and threw it in the outdoor trash can.
But the doll didn't want to leave the family, and soon Elsa was back home:
"We were looking for something after a week. We opened the couch in the living room, where SHE was lying on the blankets."
Emilie's husband and children denied any involvement in returning Elsa. This time, Matt also failed to get rid of the doll.
To prevent it from returning again, he threw it in two bags with other garbage and threw it in the outdoor trash can. Did it help? Of course not!
They still couldn't get rid of the doll. Emilie's daughter scared her mother when she said she saw Elsa outside in the back of their home, according to DailyMail.
It was the same toy – Aurelie had colored it with markers in certain places, and that's how she recognized it was the same one.
To make sure Elsa would leave their family forever, little Emilie sent her to her friend by mail. Elsa eventually ended up with Emilie's friend, who lives 2400 km away from the Madoniovi family.
Getting her back won't be an easy matter. To make sure the doll had no remaining marker stains, Emilie's friend asked for a picture of the toy tied to his car bumper to calm her down and ensure a successful shipment.
If the doll returns again, this story could make for a great horror movie!
