And in the end, kindness always wins. This story began long ago, in 2015, in a place that we know from the most popular TV series. Of course, we are talking about Santa Barbara (USA).
A woman was walking through the park to shorten her route when she made a discovery. A heavy discovery in the form of a blind and helpless female dog sitting alone on a bench. The woman was stunned.
As reported: Fakta.today
The dog was a purebred pit bull or a mix. The animal apparently had no idea what care was.
The life of the unfortunate dog was full of suffering: exhaustion, dehydration, and other life-threatening conditions.
It doesn't take an expert to understand that she needed help. The woman abandoned all her affairs and took the dog to the shelter with all due care. The dog was treated, warmed up, and fed.
They even gave her a new nickname - Poly. Everyone loved her because of her humble and kind nature. The dog loved everyone - staff and guests alike.
It was impossible not to love this amazing and completely harmless creature. Later, it turned out that in her previous life, Poly belonged to a breeder - in other words, a person who "produced" puppies.
One can only guess what she went through in her life. But regardless of how much they loved Poly, everyone understood perfectly well that she would be much better off in a loving and caring home.
However, the events that followed took a somewhat different turn. A family for Poly was found relatively quickly.
It was only now that the "caring" and "loving" hands turned into "overly caring" and "overly loving" ones.
The new owners of Poly turned out to be people who were worthy in every respect, but who understood their love for their pet in a very peculiar way.
Their diet included mountains of hamburgers and fried fast food wings. We agree that it might be tasty and sufficient for one-time food, but not constantly.
Poly quickly gained weight and became ill. It all ended sadly - the dog died. Should we curse the last owners?
On the one hand, it is necessary to rebuke them. On the other hand, their love for their pet proved to be turbulent and sincere. People tried to compensate for all her suffering as quickly as possible.
Poly lived in her new family for only a few months, but she lived life to the fullest, basking in happiness and love. Poly left completely happy - that is confirmed by everyone who is somehow involved in this story.
Maybe we shouldn't draw hasty conclusions, but all the events described will be judged by our readers.
One thing is sad: Poly will never return.
As we wrote earlier: The man had been collecting pine cones all summer, which infuriated his neighbors: beautiful results and life put everyone in their place
