British and American actress Emily Blunt revealed that Marvel Studios offered her the role of Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow in the films "Iron Man," "The First Avenger," and "The Avengers."

During an episode of the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, the 40-year-old star of movies such as "Edge of Tomorrow," "The Devil Wears Prada," "The Girl on the Train," and "A Quiet Place" confirmed that she couldn't accept the role due to contractual commitments on the set of the 2010 film "Gulliver's Travels."

The celebrity added that the role of Black Widow ultimately went to "the best girl."

Recalling, the character Natasha Romanoff was portrayed by American actress Scarlett Johansson for twelve years.
